Life's Pleasures

At times I feel like I don't mean that much to you.
That maybe I announced the status of this friendship a lil' too early.
On many occasions I felt the care and concern.
And then on some, the cold treatment was what I felt.
And it isn't for a short time mind you.

I don't know where I stand.
After putting so much into a friendship that I treasure, at the end of the day I feel that I'm taken for granted.

Enough of the dark talk.
I've been thinking 'bout it for days to even be blabbering on and on 'bout it here.

I'm counting down the days.
11 more days.
I'm getting excited.

Maybe I won't be working at all this holiday.
But I don't really mind.
Staying home is not that bad afterall.
*I'm not saying this just to cover up for myself*
I realize that there's LOTS of cleaning to be done at home.
And I mean ALOT!!
*Hey!! I'm not the princess some of you think I am. Well, maybe at times.*
But honestly, I'll see how things turn out.

Music has been my best companion while I'm either slacking or tidying up the house.

Ain't No Other Man - Christina Aguilera (How could I?? I almost forgot 'bout this song. This lady is definitely going BACK TO BASICS!!)

Sexyback - Justin Timberlake (He's back sexier than ever. Oh yeah, sexy is definitely back.)
